NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A LOCAL LAW OF 2026 AMENDING CHAPTER 163 TAXATION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, regarding a Local Law of 2026 Amending Chapter 163 Taxation.
The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2026,” a local law amending Chapter 163 Taxation.
The purpose of the Local Law is to amend Chapter 163 of the Code of the Village of Lake Grove, authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.
At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
