NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A LOCAL LAW OF 2026 AMENDING CHAPTER 163 TAXATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, regarding a Local Law of 2026 Amending Chapter 163 Taxation.

The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2026,” a local law amending Chapter 163 Taxation.

The purpose of the Local Law is to amend Chapter 163 of the Code of the Village of Lake Grove, authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF HEARING INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF LAKE GROVE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing on the tentative budget will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York 11755 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:00 P.M.  The tentative budget will be available for inspection at the office of the Village Clerk, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Mayor’s Compensation, $35,000 per year
• Deputy Mayor, $11,820 per year
• Trustee’s Compensation, $10,020 per year

All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to submit written or oral questions.

This event will take place on the northwest corner of Middle Country Road and New Moriches Road, Lake Grove, New York.

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A LOCAL LAW OF 2026

AMENDING CHAPTER 175 ZONING LAKE GROVE VILLAGE CODE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 regarding a Local Law of 2026 Amending Chapter 175-14 of The Lake Grove Village Code.

The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2026,” a local law amending Chapter 175-14 Accessory Building and Structures of the Lake Grove Village Code.

The purpose of the Local Law is to amend and modify the language in the noted Chapter and to adopt provisions regarding accessory buildings and structures in this section of the Lake Grove Village Code.

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
