Case #23-06 Susan Pusateri residing at 18 Sterling Drive, Lake Grove, New York 11755 requests variances to construct a front porch and portico from Article III, Section 175-9 Building Area whereby the total building area shall not exceed 20 % and 2,076 square feet or 23 % is proposed and Section 175-11 Front Yard whereby 40 feet is required and 25.94 feet is proposed. and to construct along Parsnip Pond Road a covered porch (5’ x 8’ 4”) along with a (2’ x 30’ 3”) overhang from Section 175-11 Front Yard whereby 40 feet is required and 23’ 6” is proposed. INCOPORATED VILLAGE OF LAKE GROVE PUBLIC NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID  NEW DPW BUILDING 2023

980 HAWKINS AVENUE LAKE GROVE, NEW YORK 11755-0708

          PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THE VILLAGE OF LAKE GROVE IS SOLICITING SEPARATE SEALED BIDS ONLY FOR THE MULTI-PRIME (CONSTRUCTION, ELECTRIC, HVAC AND PLUMBING) PROPOSALS AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DPW BUILDING, 2023, in the Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, Suffolk County, New York will be received at the Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York 11755 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at which time and place the proposals will be opened and read.

No proposal will be considered unless it is delivered to the Village Hall in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the face thereof with the nature of the bid contained therein.

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED

Bidders may obtain a copy of the Bid Package at the Village Office, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays on or after May 5, 2023 and a copy of the plans will be emailed to Bidders upon the payment by bank check or money order of a nonrefundable fee in the amount of $100.  There will be no fee for the parties that previously bid on this project.

Each proposal must contain the full name or names of the party or parties making the same, and of all persons interested therein.

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject all bids and reserves the right to accept any part of or all of any bid.  Subject to the foregoing, the Board will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.

The Village of Lake Grove reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any and all bids in the best interests of the Village.

AMENDING CHAPTERS 65 AND 175

REGARDING BUILDING CONSTRUCTION-PERMITS & INSPECTIONS AND ZONING-BUILDING PERMITS IN RELATION TO DRIVEWAYS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 regarding a Local Law of 2023

Amending Chapters 65-4 Building Construction, Permits & Inspections, 175-75 Zoning-Building Permits, regarding driveways existing and new.

 

The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2023 a local law amending Chapter 65 Building Construction, Chapter 175 Zoning, regarding driveways.

 

The purpose of the Local Law is to amend the regulations in the noted Chapters to

modify the language and provisions of the building construction and permits for driveway additions and modifications.

 

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

Box 708, Lake Grove, N.Y. 11755, Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM or may be paid by mail with official U.S. postmark on or before July 1st, 2023.

The full amount of the Real Estate Tax for the full year must be paid at one time.
