PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a special public meeting on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Road, Lake Grove, New York, where the Board of Trustees will sit as the Board of Assessment Review of the Village of Lake Grove and hear all persons interested being heard as to a tax grievance filed for their property in the Village of Lake Grove.

A complaint form may be obtained from the Assessor's Office as of February 1st or may be downloaded from the New York State Taxation and Finance Website.

The Board of Trustees may conduct such other business as is necessary or proper at this
meeting.

At said Public Meeting, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

1. Pursuant to Section 1406 of New York State Real Property Tax Law, the assessment roll has been completed by the Assessor and filed with the Village Clerk, where it may be examined by any person between 9:00 am and 4:00 p.m. until February 17, 2026, at the Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York.

2. On February 17, 2026, the Board of Review will meet at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to hear complaints in relation to assessments brought before it.

3. Complainants shall file with the Village Clerk on or before the day of the meeting of the Board of Review A statement, under oath, specifying the respect in which the assessment complained of is incorrect, which statement must be made by the person authorized to make such statement who has knowledge of the facts therein.

4. This notice is published by direction of the Village Assessor.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A LOCAL LAW OF 2026 AMENDING CHAPTER 168 VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC LAKE GROVE VILLAGE CODE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026 regarding a Local Law of 2026 Amending Chapter 168 Vehicles and Traffic of The Lake Grove Village Code.

The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2026” a local law amending Chapter 168-6 Vehicles and Traffic, Article III, Stop Intersections, and Chapter 168-8 Removal of Traffic Control Signal, and Chapter 168-5 Through Highways Stop and Yield Intersections of the Lake Grove Village Code.

The purpose of the Local Law is to amend and modify the language in the noted Chapters and to make provisions in this section of the Lake Grove Village Code regarding traffic control in the Village of Lake Grove.

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a special meeting at 9:00 a.m. on December 5, 2025, at the  Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York.

The intended purpose of the special meeting is to review and possibly take action on a referral of an unsafe premises by the Building Inspector and such other action as may properly come before the Board.
