PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of Article IX, Section 175-62 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, a public hearing will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. to consider the following applications:
Case #26-14 Vincent Pizzitola, residing at 43 Commonwealth Avenue, Lake Grove, New York 11755 requests variances from Article III, B Residence I District, Section 175-12 Side Yards, to construct a (14.5 feet x 30 feet) one story addition where no one side shall be less than 20 feet and where 11.3 feet is proposed, requesting a 8.7 feet side yard variance and where the total width of both side yards is to be 45 feet or greater and where 41.3 feet is proposed, requesting a 3.7 feet total side yard variance. Case #26-15 Our Savior Lutheran Church, 140 Mark Tree Road, Centereach, New York 11720 requests from Article III, B Residence I District, Section 175-10 B a minimum lot width variance of 5 feet where a minimum lot width of 125 feet is required 40 feet back from the street line, and proposed Lot 5 has a lot width of 120 feet, 40 feet back from Hawkins Road, and a minimum lot frontage variance of 28 feet from Section 175-10 C where a minimum lot frontage of 125 feet is required and proposed Lot 5 has a lot frontage of 97 feet on Hawkins Road, to construct a single family, two story dwelling.
