Good day, village residents!
With the impending inclement weather arriving this weekend, please remove all vehicles and athletic equipment from village roadways to accommodate the efforts of our staff to keep our roads safe.
Vehicles left on the roads make it extremely difficult for our plows to clear the roads properly and certainly slow down the progress of our efforts.
Also, as a reminder, it violates New York State law and the local law of the village for anyone to throw snow or any other debris onto public roadways, and those doing so are subject to a substantial fine.
Thank you all for your consideration in this matter. Please only travel during the storm when necessary and drive according to weather conditions.
