In accordance with Sec. 15-104 Sub. 3 (b) and 4, of the Election Law of the State of New York, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next Annual Election will be held on Wednesday, the 18^th   of March 2026, and that

1. the polling place for the Village Election shall be the Village Recreation Center, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, and that
2. the polls shall be open from noon and close at 9:00 p.m. in the evening and that

NOTICE OF TAX SALE OF REAL PROPERTY UPON WHICH TAXES ARE UNPAID

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the provisions of the Real Property Law of the State of New York, and a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, on the 15th day of January 2026, the undersigned, as Village Treasurer, will sell at public auction on the 6th day of March, 2026, at 10:00 AM on that day (prevailing time) at the Village Meeting Hall at 980 Hawkins Avenue in said Village, so much of each of the following parcels of real property upon which taxes are unpaid to discharge the taxes, interest & charges which may be due as to each at the time of the sale thereof, and said The sale shall be continued from day to day, if necessary, until it is completed.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that each purchaser at such tax sale shall pay the amount of his bid to the undersigned as Village Treasurer, within TEN days after the sale, & on such payment, a certificate in writing describing the real property will be given, purchased & the sum paid therefore. If any purchaser neglects or refuses to pay the amount of his bid within the prescribed time, the undersigned, as Village Treasurer, may, at his option, bring action against the purchaser to recover the amount bid by him with costs.

INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF LAKE GROVE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to provisions of Article IX, Section 175-62 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, a public hearing will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, on Wednesday, March 4, 202,6 at 7:00 P.M. to consider the following application:

Case #26-01 Frank Ilvento residing at 32 Sankey’s Path, Lake Grove, New York requests variances from Article III, Section 175-14 Accessory Buildings and Structures to maintain an existing frame shed (11.4’ x 8.1’) where it is required that no building or structure shall be built less than 5‘ from any side or rear lot line and 4.6’ from the side lot line is existing,  requesting a .4’  variance and Section 175-14 Accessory Buildings and Structures to also maintain an existing shed (12.1’ x 16.4’) where it is required that no building or structure shall be built less than 5’ from any side or rear lot line and 3’  from the side lot line is existing, requesting a 2’ variance. Lake Grove, New York, Zoning Board of Appeals

Article 1219 of New York State VTL prohibits plowing, shoveling, or blowing snow into a street or highway. This law also covers other items likely to pose a hazard to motorists, including glass, nails, wire, cans, etc. Fines for a first offense include up to a $150 fine and/or 15 days in jail, plus applicable surcharges.

This law also stipulates that anyone who places or permits to be placed upon any highway any material which interferes with the safe use of the highway shall immediately remove the same or cause it to be removed. This includes snow! If you are a homeowner and you hire a person to plow your driveway, and you permit him/her to plow the snow into the road, you could be cited under this law.

Please also be advised that clearing snow and debris from sidewalks is the homeowner’s responsibility. Homeowners and businesses that fail to provide clear passage on sidewalks are subject to local fines.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing on Thursday February 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Road, Lake Grove, New York, regarding the application of TMA Realty Development, LLC for a Special Permit as follows:
