NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

AMENDING CHAPTER 168 VEHICLES & TRAFFIC OF THE

LAKE GROVE VILLAGE CODE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Road, Lake Grove, New York on a proposed Local Law of 2026 the title of which is “Local Law of 2026” a Local Law Amending Chapter 168 of the Lake Grove Village Code; and which local law amends Chapter 168 Vehicles and Traffic of the Lake Grove Village Code to adopt or amend regulations regarding parking prohibited in designated locations in the Village of Lake Grove.

At said Public Hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF LAKE GROVE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to provisions of Article IX, Section 175-62 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, a public hearing will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. to consider the following application(s):

Case #26-05, Crystal Lundstrum, residing at 50 Walnut Street, Lake Grove, New York request a variance from Article III, B Residence 1 District, Section 175-9 Building Area to construct a 16’ x 32’ inground swimming pool and a 10’ x 18’ shed where the total building area shall not exceed 20% of the total lot area or 1,600 square feet and 30% or 2,395.8 square feet is proposed, requesting a 10% or 795.8 square feet variance.  Said property is located at 50 on the west side of Walnut Street, 300 feet south of Magnolia Avenue. Case #26-06, Ryan Foley, residing at 79 Forest Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, requests a variance from Article XV, General Provisions, Section 175-98B. Swimming Pool, to install a 16’ x 20’ semi inground swimming pool in the front yard, 18.2 feet from the property line on Greenway Terrace, where no outdoor swimming pool shall be situated in the required front yard. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A LOCAL LAW OF 2026 AMENDING CHAPTER 163 TAXATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Grove will hold a public hearing at the Lake Grove Village Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, regarding a Local Law of 2026 Amending Chapter 163 Taxation.

The title of the Local Law is “Local Law of 2026,” a local law amending Chapter 163 Taxation.

The purpose of the Local Law is to amend Chapter 163 of the Code of the Village of Lake Grove, authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing on the tentative budget will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York 11755 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:00 P.M.  The tentative budget will be available for inspection at the office of the Village Clerk, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Mayor’s Compensation, $35,000 per year
• Deputy Mayor, $11,820 per year
• Trustee’s Compensation, $10,020 per year

Application by HV, LLC dba Circus Vazquez, to the Board of Trustees for a Special Permit to host an outdoor Acrobatic Circus at Smith Haven Mall from April 24 through May 11, 2026. This event will take place on the northwest corner of Middle Country Road and New Moriches Road, Lake Grove, New York.
